The Alchemy of Light Altar is breathtaking functional sculpture and standing altar, a devotional structure, and precision-crafted light instrument—designed as a natal mandala encoded to the instant of your first breath, the union and harmony of two persons charts, and or a location.
ㅤㅤㅤRooted in ancient Egyptian and Greek cosmologies, it synthesizes astrological and universal intelligence, crystallography, gemstone harmonics, and material design into a functional sculpture that calibrates atmosphere through time, refrective light orientation, and illumination.

Conceived as a celestial clock and “timeless wheel of life,” the altar maps cyclical time—hours, months, and longer planetary sequences—through its structure and alignment.
ㅤㅤㅤIn Vestali’s philosophy, when something is made is as essential as how. Each element is handcrafted using traditional goldsmithing and lapidary techniques, produced in alignment with planetary hours so the object carries temporal integrity as well as form.

Encircling the altar is an array of 2.3” spheres—four hollowed, hand-polished sterling silver spheres that at as antennas marking the four directions, and eight quartz crystal spheres. Each quartz sphere is paired with a hand-selected 3-carat rare precious gemstone aligned to the native’s (or two persons) chart, chosen for the symbolic and material resonance of its sign and the life domain it governs.
ㅤㅤㅤQuartz amplifies and stabilizes the system as a whole, while the gemstones act as fixed points within the mandala—refracting light through an encoded prism-field that subtly shapes the surrounding space harmoniously..

At the center, a patented hand-cut Vogel quartz crystal is carved according to the geometric principles developed by Marcel Vogel to focus and direct light through the structure and into its surrounding space—toward you and your environment. The Vogel as an a mega healing wand, amplifier, and time-piece.
ㅤㅤㅤServing as a harmonizing axis and an “eternal clock hand,” the central crystal is integrated with a patented custom turning mechanism developed in conversation with Vogel-derived geometries: symmetry-forward, precision-cut forms engineered to guide interaction, orientation, and direct your attention.

ㅤㅤㅤQuartz is naturally piezoelectric—mechanical pressure applied to its lattice can generate an electrical potential, translating friction into a potent and direct signal—a principle that underpins quartz’s role in timekeeping and sensing technologies.
ㅤㅤㅤThis scientific respect informs the altar’s design philosophy: a conscious technology where metaphysical frameworks meet material physics, and where the altar, as a ritual object is a calibrated device for harmony and empowerment.
The spherical architecture is also informed by Peter Sloterdijk’s Spheres—a theory of habitat describing human life as nested atmospheres: wombs, rooms, relational microclimates, and the “foam” of shared worlds.
ㅤㅤㅤIn this work, spheres operate as micro-environments—radio stations of resonance—modeling how we live inside overlapping fields: emotional, social, and cosmic.

Offered in two formats—a tabletop altar for personal practice and a standing Light Altar commissioned at larger scale—the work may be created for one individual, two people (supporting shared orientation and relational coherence), or a specific site tuned to the environment it inhabits.
ㅤㅤㅤThe standard configuration features 3-carat gemstones; commissions may be upgraded to precious stones with GIA certification, subject to availability. Produced in micro-edition, no two altars are ever the same.
