Vestali Studio is an interdisciplinary, research-based practice founded in 2024 by astrologer and artist Rose Theodora, working at the intersection of cosmology, ritual studies, semiotics, spatial design, and material science.
ㅤㅤㅤThe studio’s installations examine light, time, and symbolic order as spatial and material phenomena—objects conceived not as décor, but as operative structures that organize temporal cycles, perceptual experience, and embodied orientation.
[ 01 ]
Vestali creates sculptural objects and site-specific installations that function as contemporary ritual technologies: precise, enduring instruments for CONTEMPLATION, ENGAGEMENT, and inner coherence.
Rose’s practice draws from a lifetime of astrological study alongside research in perception and symbolic systems.
ㅤㅤㅤWith a background spanning neuroscience, neuroaesthetics, art history and semiotics, and ongoing work across culture, aesthetics, and futures thinking, she approaches ritual as both aesthetic intelligence and applied system—a method for reconfiguring how humans relate to time, environment, and meaning.
The work engages ancient cosmological frameworks while situating them within contemporary discourse on design, authorship, and ritual in post-institutional culture.
ㅤㅤㅤVestali collaborates with specialized artisans across lapidary arts, design, metallurgy, and architectural fabrication. Works are produced in limited editions and are available internationally through private acquisition, commissions, and installations via Fairfax Dorn Projects.

WHY WE EXIST
[ 03 ]
We are living through a cultural reorientation: devotion is moving from institution to domestic—from public doctrine to private practice, from centralized interpretation to personal sovereignty.
ㅤㅤㅤAs modern life becomes more quantified, accelerated, and screen-bound, the appetite for meaningful objects that restore symbolic depth again.
Vestali designs for that future need:
ㅤㅤㅤa return to meaningful spaces, where the objects we live with are active companions—supporting the nervous system, THROUGH A practice in presence, creative play, and intentional design through form and material.

[ 05 ]
Vestali, it’s not only [ how ] something is made — it’s [ when ].
ㅤㅤㅤTime is an intricate part of our process.
ㅤㅤㅤEach piece or installation is developed through rigorous research, crafted with our network of specialized artisans working in heritage craft traditions, including: lapidary arts, stone masonry, traditional metalworking, and hand-finishing to produce sculptural objects with archival durability, and—in select pieces—produced in alignment with planetary hours, specific time the time each element of our pieces is made.
The result is functional sculpture with a cosmological backbone: designed for greater emotional depth and connection and metaphysical and physical alignment.

[ㅤ]ㅤMATERIALS ARE SELECTED FOR THEIR PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
THE FOUNDATION
[ 10 ]
Within the studio, Vestali develops complete cosmological ecosystems—ritual architectures that unite matter, time, geometry, and synthesis. Two foundational altars form the studio’s primary axis: Metals and Light.
ㅤㅤㅤEvery aspect of our practice is intentional: not only the quality of materials, but our process, and the timing of each aspect of the altars.
